Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan and home to Robin’s Maiko and Geisha friends as well as his ancestral temple. Every year, he visits Kyoto and spends some time at his ancestral temple. Robin believes that the Boddhisattva always answers his prayers granting him and his work everlasting beauty.
Maiko-San has previously asked Robin Yong to do a photo book on Maikos and Geishas. The artist feels that he is not quite ready with the book yet, meanwhile his photos of Maiko-San have won quite a few Gold and Silver medals in competitions worldwide.
